to fill it with water. A British officer sees the drummer chasing
his canteen and mistakes him as a deserter running away through
the woods. The officer quickly orders some soldiers after him.
The drummer, after catching up to his canteen gets lost in the
woods and can't find his way back to the British encampment. Things
go from bad to worse for the drummer when it comes to his attention
that he is being hunted down for execution as a deserter. In the
meantime, the British forces, back at the encampment, march off
to meet the American forces for a grand battle, which will rage
